Chris Frye releases the first single, Plug You In, from his upcoming solo album.
This is a summer car song for the 21st Century, celebrating the joy, power and positivity of electric vehicles (EVs).
In the tradition of great car-focussed hits like Chuck Berry’s “Maybellene”, the Beatles’ “Baby You Can Drive My Car, War’s “Low Rider”, and Springsteen’s “Pink Cadillac”, Plug You In hums forward as an anthem to good-time, zero-emission transportation.
The album and single feature the finest of West Coast Canadian musicians, and was written and recorded in that hot bed of North American EV culture, Victoria, B.C.
The Analog Ghosts are: Chris Frye, guitars/vocals, Joby Baker, drums/production, Scott White, upright bass, Brooke Maxwell, piano/keyboards, and Richard Moody, strings/backing vocals.
So plug in, turn on, hit the road and get into happiness rolling, electrified!
